Women's Philanthropy Giving Levels
Lion of Judah
With a gift of $5,000 or more to the Annual Campaign, a woman earns the distinction of the Lion of Judah. The Lion of Judah pin is worn by 17,500 women in the world and symbolizes their dedication to the Jewish community.
Pomegranate Society
The Pomegranate honors all women who make a personal gift of $1,800-$4,999 to the Annual Campaign. These women can show their commitment by wearing a sterling silver Pomegranate pin, representing a commitment to saving lives and to helping Jews in need around the world.
Sabra Society
Women who give a dollar a day to the Annual Campaign, up to $1,799 annually, make our Sabra Society. The Sabra is a symbol of the native Israeli – tough on the outside and sweet on the inside. The Sabra endures and continues to thrive, just as we do and our community does.
JEWEL Society
With gifts to PJ Library, JEWEL Society members take the lead in ensuring a vibrant Jewish community in Greater New Haven for generations to come. A gift to PJ Library allows us to reach the families of more than 800 children from birth to 8 years old, enriching their lives with Jewish books, local family programming and outreach.

Shalom Baby
Shalom Baby is an outreach initiative of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven's Women's Philanthropy—designed to welcome Jewish babies and their families to the Jewish community in the Greater New Haven area. Through this collaborative effort, synagogues, vendors, and agencies that cater to our community extend a hand of friendship to families who have recently experienced the birth or adoption of a child.

Dignity Grows
Dignity Grows empowers our neighbors in need by providing menstrual and hygiene supplies for every body that needs them. We remove obstacles to better self-esteem and health by providing personal hygiene essentials each and every month. Dignity Grows mobilizes volunteers to organize, assemble, and distribute free, reusable zipper-top totes filled with a month's supply of soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, along with menstrual products.
